Spring is in the Air

The weather has been beautiful here in Philadelphia and with beautiful weather comes a lifting of the spirits. I'm encouraging everyone to get out and feel the inspiration and lightness the warm, bright sun can bring to your day. Take a walk outside, sit in the park, take a picture of something beautiful; then relive the moment each time you look at the picture for it will remind you of the wonderful feeling you had when you discovered it!

Listen to some happy music.

 Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, PA

My friend Francesca and I had a lunch date outside in the square!

Brighten your day (or someone else's) with some pretty flowers at home or in the workplace.

My beautiful picture of the day is the most delicious cupcake I've ever eaten. Made by my beautiful cousin Melissa. Oreo cupcake!

Even more beautiful was that I shared with my friends. I have only child syndrome which means I really don't like to share.. especially food and most especially delicious cupcakes. Good deed of the day =)

Dress for Less

Lately money has been tight which was making it hard for me to be fashion forward in my Fashion Industry. As a hairstylist in Philadelphia, I enjoy looking my best everyday for myself and my clients. 'Look good feel good' is my motto. I always want people to look their best and feel even better. Clients look to us for fashion and beauty inspiration thus keeping us on our toes with our appearance. Luckily for me I love to get dressed up and do my hair and makeup, so it's never an issue for me to do it everyday! I don't even go get my mail without some mascara and a decent pair of pants and shoes!
I became very bored with my wardrobe but didn't have money to go splurge on new outfits. So I started to look through different blogs for inspirations. I found so many outfits I loved and realized I had these pieces in my wardrobe but never thought to pair them in such a way. With a few inexpensive pieces bought here and there and a daily challenge of pairing different items I had a new style and money to pay rent! My coworker and fabulous friend Francesca also shares my love for fashion and has been inspiring me and joining me on this low budget style change. Ever changing and growing!!!

I'm usually a big fan of MAC lipstick but Francesca found an awesome red lipstick from Covergirl in Hot Passion (about $8) Meowww!
